The history of Cà Maiol has always been linked to this precious white, thanks to the foresight and love for the new challenges of the Milanese Walter Contato who in 1967 founded his farm right on the southern shores of Lake Garda, where the vineyards of Turbiana always give their best.
The golden color, the delicate but at the same time decisive taste, the freshness on the palate, the soft scent: Lugana, a white wine of excellence widespread and loved all over the world, owes its specific and so particular characteristics to the land in which originates.
The south coast of Lake Garda, benevolent in the climate and welcoming in the clayey soil, is the optimal cradle for the cultivation of the native Turbiana, a vine with unmistakable characteristics, perfect for defining and determining, along the passage of time and seasons, the essential elective affinity that binds Lugana to its territory.
