Pecorino Colline Pescaresi IGT
Colline Pescaresi IGT

13,5 vol.
Abruzzo, Italia
The name of the vine, native to Abruzzo, derives from local traditions: the shepherds consumed it during the transhumance of the flocks. The main characteristics of this wine can be traced back to those of the vine, an impressive concentration and a high sugar content, due to low production. The bunch is small and characterized by small and sparse berries. The grape harvest is done by hand, in crates. In the cellar the grapes undergo a very soft pressing, the must is cooled for about 18 hours, so as to favor static defecation, followed by fermentation, favored by selected yeasts, for about 20 days.
Straw yellow. The nose is expressed with notes of apricot, tropical fruits and hints of white flowers. On the palate it is fresh, savory, balanced and with a harmonious finish.
Serving temperature: 8-10 ° C.
Excellent in combination with fish first and second courses, it goes particularly well with baked preparations.
